I was recently asked, "How are things at church?" My immediate answer was, "It is well with my church." We just hosted a successful Picnic in the Park. Maybe not as many in attendance as last year, but, it was still a great day for God and the people that were there. The weather was bright and sunny. Warm but not too hot. The entertainment was very, er, well, entertaining and very well received by one and all. Next, we had 11 people attend the first evening of prayer and fasting, Sunday evening, as our show of unity for our sister church in Nigeria, 8 people attended on Monday night, and the first Disciple 1 class on Monday evening. There has been a very steady attendance at the Wednesday evening Bible Study on King David held (mostly) Wednesday evenings. Choir will start rehearsing soon and returning to our Sunday service to share their voices to our worship. Sunday attendance is fairly steady. There is still plenty of vitality in our church. Plenty of life. We are blessed. It IS well with our church. -Blessings, Pastor Jesse
