Good Shepherd
Fellowship
 |
Curriculum: Beginning September
7, The Good Shepherd Fellowship Class will study "Banking on God: Exploring
Salvation in the Bible". This cirriculum written by Perry Yoder is part of the
Good Ground series. Good Ground is a unique approach to Bible study. It lets
the Bible ask most of the questions and lets participants struggle with the
answers. When we ask, "How can I be saved? the Bible asks, "Whom will you
serve?" When we ask, "What will happen to me when I die?" the Bible asks,
"What does the Lord require of you?" When we ask, "Whom does God love best?"
the Bible asks, "Who is your neighbor?" Good Ground goes to the scripture for
questions, not just answers.
Format:
We
discuss the book as we read through it.
Special events: We
plan a variety of activities throughout the year, balancing service and
fellowship. |
